Come on… screen printing! You bring the clothes we bring the amazing art, beer, and fun… FREE (Keep in mind that the artists are going to have some great merchandise though, so might want to bring a buck or two. and we won’t turn down a little donation action to recoup costs either).

Thanks again Basement Ink!

This year we had to back Art Seed. Art Seed involves children and young adults in  productive and artistic beautification of the city via murals. This charity organization raises money/community involvement, and exposes young people to art that may not normally have access.

As artists and designers ourselves, we would loathe to think what our lives had been without that key moment that made art an option to pursue. We hope Art Seed continues to trigger that in the young people of St. Johns for many years to come. You can catch up with them here, or say howdy to them at the event!

Wow, NBFH is almost here! I hope your excited, and if for some unexplainable reason your not, well then here’s the 12th screen from Jess Gleaseman! Yup, now your excited. Our final screen announcement is also a great returning artist who knows how to screen print in his sleep, so you know he’s going to make it look amazing!

We’re excited to see everyone there, even this classy fella:

Hehe, that made me giggle. It’s a reaper, that’s texting, its a texting reaper, and it’s texting a ASCII critter, hehe… Ok, I’m done being a child, I also appreciate it for it’s fine artistic composition that will lend itself to textile screen-printing application brilliantly.

I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore, luckily the event is coming fast and the end to my randomness with it!

Jonathon is bringing quite a piece this year, The axe that fell the forest. I don’t know about you but I’m impressed, I bet having this on your chest will make you feel powerful.

This guy will show off the awesome power. Hey, at least it’s a full shirt this year.

Heidi is a great painter, so we’ll admit, we stretched her a bit asking for something a bit more screenprintery (yeah, that’s the word I’m using). We think this came out amazing, has that Heidi emotion ready to emblazon all over your stuff.

This lady is feeling it, you can tell by her pouty model face.

We’re pretty sure this is one of the most Northwest thing we’ve ever seen and by defacto needs to be in every Oregonian’s closet. You’re going to be there with shirt in hand ready to get it screened right? You’re ahead of the curve.
